Historie
Founded in 1895, Shelbourne FC are one of Ireland's oldest and most successful clubs. They dominated the League of Ireland in the early 2000s under manager Pat Fenlon, winning back-to-back titles in 2003 and 2004 and reaching the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round in 2004-05 — a historic achievement for Irish club football.
After a difficult period that saw the club drop to the First Division, Shelbourne rebuilt and returned to the Premier Division, winning the league title again in 2022 under Damien Duff.
