Historie
Founded in 1874, Heart of Midlothian FC is one of Scotland's oldest and most decorated clubs. Named after a dance hall in Edinburgh's Old Town, Hearts have won four Scottish league titles and eight Scottish Cups, cementing their place among the country's elite.
The club has a proud and emotional history — including the famous McCrae's Battalion story from World War One, when Hearts players and supporters enlisted en masse. In modern times, Hearts have been a consistent Premiership force, winning the Scottish Cup in 2012 and 2023, and regularly competing in European football. Under Ann Budge's stewardship and now with a fan ownership model, the club is as community-driven as ever.
